HOME MADE PANISSE - High protein / Low fat / Gluten free / Oil free


Hello beauties ! Today I want to share a recipe from my recipe eBook with you !

Have you ever hear about "panisse" ? It's a typical meal from where I live on the french riviera ! It's made with chickpeas flour and .... That's it ! You know I love healthy but QUICK recipes ! So perfect for me ! And trust me, it is DELICIOUS !

It looks like polenta, but 100% tastier, with more protein and with a lower glycemic index !

INDREDIENTS :

2 c water

1 c chickpea flour

Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS :

Heat the water and salt in a saucepan till the water is steaming and nearly at a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low.

Pour the chickpea flour slowly into the water while whisking constantly until the mixture thickens hardly (it can take time !)

Put the mixture into a pan and let it cool.

Once it is cold, slice the panisse and you have many options here :

- Enjoy it cold in a salad

- Fry-pan them

- Bake them in the oven
